Even when no one is listening…

Daily Detox

Been feeling a lack of self groundedness lately. With Jenna and I’s lease ending in roughly two months the pressures of formulating a sense of direction have thrown me off balance. Well meaning folks asking questions and offering options. An overwhelming tide of possibilities. A demanding desire to “know” who, what, where, when and why. I haven’t felt this pressure since graduating highschool; when it seemed like all that mattered to people was what college I was attending in the Fall. This time around I am not buying into the distraction.

Today I live in a beautiful apartment with a wonderful room mate. Two months from now I don’t know where I will be. One thing I know for sure – I’ll be happy 🙂 No matter what.

Today I release myself from attachment to the future. Living fully, wholeheartedly in the moment I currently reside. My plans are flexible. I am grateful for my support system offering assistance without expectation or demand. Through your love I have found my footing again. Detoxing my spirit of negativity. Making room for positive energies flowing in abundance all around me.

For my readers who are:

Feeling a lack of direction…

Sensing clingy demands…

Pressured by society…

Worn out…

Spent…

Exhausted…

Take time to detox.

Stop what you are doing right now.

Sllllloooooowww down.

 Take a detox bath.

Meditate.

Breathe

Center yourself

The rest of the world will still be here when you’re done 😉

  1. “Let all those who go to you for safety be glad.
Let them always sing with joy.
Spread your cover over them and keep them safe.
Then those who love you will be glad because of you.
Lord, you bless those who do what is right.
Like a shield, your loving care keeps them safe.”
    Psalm 5:11-12
