The Story of How I Stabbed Myself
Consider: I’ve been reading your blog for months now, and from what I can tell, you have:
1 – made a religion out of “self-discovery,” questioning, and opposing what you have been taught.
2 – decided that you are more intelligent than those who live by faith, because you blaze your own trail. (even though you seem to arrive regularly at contradictory and hypocritical half-truths)
3 – been injured by someone who claimed to be a Christian and don’t want to categorize yourself with them
4 – become the epitome of a post-modern culture that says truth is defined individually, feelings reign above all else, and accepting old truths is simply lame.
Have I been observing accurately? This isn’t a personal attack on you. It is more of a personal inquisition on you. The person I used to go to church with and call a friend has changed so much, that I’m still reeling trying figure it all out.
In layman’s terms, no.
Sometimes, we see what we want to see.
